Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Mrs. Sauer was my kindergarten teacher! I still remember her. She was a wonderful, loving woman! Probably part of why I always loved school.

  2. Our thoughts & prayers are with you all. Kathleen was an amazing lady who I enjoyed thru the years of doing her hair and cakes also. Thank you for such wonderful memories.

  3. She was my husband Grady’s fifth grade teacher. He loved hearing about her life growing up on a farm.

  4. I knew Kathleen socially for many years and then she became my “boss” when I was hired to work at the Mechanicsville Public Library. Kathleen was a lady who had integrity and believed in treating people with kindness and honesty. She cared very deeply for the library and for the people who worked there. She fought for higher wages for the employees and helped make the library what it has become today. She was a great lady and I will miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family and friends.

  5. Deepest sympathy to the family. I have fond Delta Kappa Gamma memories with her.. She and I are charter members of Beta Nu Chapter. We traveled together to Regional and International conventions in Jackson Hole and Nashville. We also attended Iowa conventions. She was a dear friend. Pauline Antons

  6. I can remember the day that 3 children entered their lives. What wonderful parents. She taught my children in school. Worked with her in our church activities and even tried to teach me bridge! Great lady and I will miss her.

  7. Jane and Lee,
I didn’t realize Kathleen was your Mother…I have waited on her many times at the store and remember her as being so friendly and had a lovely smile. You all have my sympathy and I’m so sorry for your loss. I know you all have your special memories of your Mom, hold them close and always remember her with love.

    Annamae Baker

  8. So sorry for your loss.. She is one of the best, one that I can truly say made a difference in my life growing up thru elementary school and beyond. My condolences to the family. She will be missed by many.
