Reconnected a year ago on Facebook. My memories are from 1965. Met in Oxford Junction when he was spending the summer with my next door neighbors, Jr. & Betty. He was my first love. Fun summer of buzzin’ around on the little Red Honda in matching madras plaid blast jackets. Even saw a UFO together!! I knew he had some health issues but didn’t know details. My sincerest sympathy to all of his family and dear friends. Wish we could have had one last talk about that summer but someday we will meet again and reminisce. Sincerely, Gloria (Peters) Engelken Elko New Market, MN.
Hey Old Buddy! Time and paths have separated us physically over the years but not the memories. Rest in peace and we will catch up one day.

I met Jim when he would come in the grocery store in Mt. Vernon. He was always so soft spoken and had the cutest dimples and smile. He was a fun guy and we always kidded each other about something. I haven’t seen him for quite a while. I’m so very sorry to hear of his passing, We have lost a good, hard working man.
My sympathy to his family,
Annamae Baker
