Crappie Fishing and Frank’s Eggs
One of my favorite stories is about Frank, Bob and I going crappie fishing at Frank’s secret crappie lake. Usually MJ would make hard boiled eggs for us to take, but for some reason Frank was put in charge for this outing. I am sure that MJ explained to Frank how to cook the eggs, but as men will do, he did them his way. The crappies were biting. At around noon, Frank suggested we get have something to eat. I gave each of us an egg. We peeled them, salt and peppered them and bit into them. Frank and I immediately spit ours out. They were runny on the inside. Bob didn’t want to hurt Frank’s feeling so he ate his and complimented Frank on the eggs. I think Bob might have even ate a second one. Frank and I lunched on Snicker bars and beer. This is one memory I will cherish about fun times spent with Frank. I miss him very much. I am sure that Frank and Bob are crappie fishing in Heaven. I just hope they are behaving themselves so they don’t get kicked out before MJ and I get there.
