Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Your grandfather, Russ, was our mailman for many years on Ridgeway Dr SE in Cedar Rapids. My parents, who are now deceased, and my 3 brothers all enjoyed your grandfather. He was part of my brothers and my childhood memories. He would always come in the house to talk. When we saw the obituary it brought many happy memories back to all of us. I did not know your grandmother but we send our deepest sympathy to you all. Molly Evans Scott and family

  2. Emma was such a quiet, God spirited woman! I used to deliver Meals on Wheels, she was so thankful and gracious! I loved visiting with her, even though they were short visits, I always came away feeling happy and content with life! The Lord has her in His loving embrace! The world is a better place having had Emma in it!

  3. Sending our sincerest sympathy to all of Emma’s family. She was a very dear friend whom Tim met when delivering ‘meals on wheels’ in Cedar Rapids. We so enjoyed our visits with her in her home and in Mt. Vernon. She was a woman of great faith and we strive to live by her example. Tim and Kathy Patterson Cedar Rapids, IA

  4. Mary, I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother. I am sure Emma is glad to move on to her reward. Thinking of you and sending ((((((hugs)))))!
