Brittany Lynn Pollock, 22, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, October 8, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a short illness. Memorial Services: 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids. Survivors include her father, Dennis (Brandy) Pollock; her mother, Penny Pollock; sisters, Courtney Pollock, Brittany Overman, and Ashley Overman; grandmother, Barb Pickering; great grandmother, Dorothy Pollock; four nieces, one nephew; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Brittany was born August 4, 1989, in Cedar Rapids. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Janice Pollock; and grandfathers, Earl Buckallew and James Pickering.

My deepest sympathies over the loss of Brittany. While a few words offer peace during a difficult time, perhaps the words expressed at Revelation 21:3,4 provide you with both comfort and hope along with the realization that soon tragedies such as this will one day be a thing of the past.
I will be there to show my support. This is a huge loss for everyone.
I will miss her alot we had a lot of fun times shopping, watching movies, doing our nails, laughing for no reason, dancing, and just being outright goofy. She was always there for me no matter what time it was. She is very loved and will be forever.

I knew Brittany because we used to hang out with Tasha Harper, Winkleman, and Ally Strait. We had some memorable times like listening to music and going on walks. She was goofy along the way. I loved every minute of hanging out with her because she would be the one to make us all laugh with out a blink. She was an amazing friend, and I wouldn’t have had her any other way. She will truly be missed by the Fitzgerald and Pollock Family.

I didn’t know Brittany but my sister Jill had known her for some time and told me how sweet, kind, and friendly Brittany had always been. Because my sister doesn’t have access to this guestbook, I’m writing instead to say how sad and sorry we are that you have lost this lovely girl.
Brittany was an amazing, fun, and kind person. I had a great time everytime I was with her. She will be missed.
What can I say? When I was at the abbe with brittanny she did my nails and play rumee. One time we were goofing around so much that she made me fall over and I was mad 🙂 but she made every one laugh.
