Annette 'Netty K' Sanchez Glover, 48, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, May 11, 2009, at St. Luke's Hospital. Memorial Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 15, 2009, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids. She has been cremated. Survivors include two daughters, Angela (Troy Gallagher) Takes and Sondra (Benson) Williams; six grandchildren, Justice, Bryce, Kaitlyn, Alexander, Victoria, and Andrew; her mother, Violet Sanchez; three brothers, William, Randall, and Antonio Sanchez; two sisters, Marcelina (Bruce) Luedeman and Mary Ellen Sanchez; special friend, Chuck Hartman; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Lucio Sanchez; and two sisters, Juanita Halverson and Geraldina Varner. Annette was born October 9, 1960 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Lucio and Violet (Saxton) Sanchez. She was married to Scott Glover and they later divorced. Annette worked for many years in area warehouses. She was a fun-loving person who will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. A special thank you to St. Luke's Hospice and the 4 Center nurses at St. Luke's Hospital. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Luke's Hospice.

What I will miss the most is the way that Annette smiled, and always defended those that others tried to judge. I was able to confide in her things that I had never confided in anyone. She is loved and will be missed terribly.
