John Weaver

John William Weaver, an 83-year-old resident of Marion, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A graveside service will be held on August 14, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., at Lisbon Cemetery, Lisbon, Iowa. Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, is assisting the family with arrangements.

John Weaver was born on April 28, 1943, in Cedar Rapids, to V. Crandall and Eunice (Howland) Weaver.

Throughout his life, John Weaver was known for his being a mellow, easy-going man with numerous interests and passions including Country music, model trains and airplanes, and old Western movies.

John is survived by his brother, Rick (Cindy) Weaver; step-children, Suzanne, Bradley, Joni-Lee, Kenneth, Deborah, and LeeAnn; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

John Weaver was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Judith Weaver; son, Steven Weaver; step-sons, Jeffery and Russell; brother, David; and step-grandson, Donald.
