Glenda McConaughy, 70, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at her home surrounded by family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.

Glenda was born on December 6, 1955, in Iowa, the daughter of Glen McConaughy and Saundra Hormann.

Glenda served honorably in the United States Navy from 1974-1976.

Glenda is survived by her father, Glen McConaughy; daughter, Amanda (Tracey Robinson) McConaughy; grandchildren, Jonas (Jewel Stine) McConaughy, Noah McConaughy, and Zoey Phelps; and siblings, Phil (Annette) McConaughy and Julie Meyer.

Glenda was preceded in death by her mother, Saundra McConaughy and brother, Mike McConaughy
