Kim Popp, 64, of Osage, Iowa died on May 20, 2026. Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is assisting Kim’s family with arrangements.
Kim was born on March 5, 1962. She was the daughter of Lee and Sandy Moore. Kim was raised in Rudd, Iowa and she often shared fond stories of her time there with her family.
She spent many years working for her parents’ businesses, Moore’s Car Wash and Moore’s LP Gas.
Kim married the love of her life, Dennis Popp, on August 14, 1998. They worked closely together through their Popp Farm Drainage business. Together, they raised their three sons – Adam, Joe, and Ben.
Kim was an incredibly hard worker who could conquer any job. She adored her boys and enjoyed spending her time taking care of her beautiful home, yard, and garden. She especially loved all of her travels and the places visited with her husband, Dennis.
Kim is survived by her husband, Dennis Popp; her children, Adam (Megan), Joe (Alexa), Ben (Summer); her four grandchildren; her siblings, Tammy Wood and Timm (Robin) Moore; her mother-in-law, Dorothy; her brothers- and sisters-in-law; and many beloved family and friends.
Kim is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Sandy Moore; and her father-in-law, Mel.
According to Kim’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A private burial will take place at a later date.
Kim will be laid to rest at Rudd, Iowa
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that we make the world a prettier place by planting flowers into well-drained soil.
