Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I have no doubts where you are right now my friend. Put in a good word for me and I’ll see you on the flip side.
    Doug

  2. I can’t think of a Tuesday that Greg wasn’t there for Men of Action plus I remember his car always being there when I walked up. Greg brought such wisdom to the group and always knew what was going on at all the parishes down to the date and time. Greg also helped me deepen my devotion to the Divine Mercy prayers and the Diary of St Faustina. My deepest sympathy to Kathi and all of Greg’s family.

  3. Many good memories of growing up with Greg, playing sports together, and attending St. Ludmila’s and LaSalle before he transferred to Jefferson.

One silly memory that stuck with me for some reason was we were both serving (maybe 6th or 7th grade) as Altar Boys at St. Ludmila’s daily mass for the 20 or so retirees who attended. Fr. Zachar called me over while he was at the altar and instructed me to turn on / off some lights in the altar & main body of the church. I totally messed it up about 5 times. Finally, Fr. Zachar called me over and said “look, let’s get this straight” and I finally figured out what he wanted. Greg and I just could not stop laughing up on the altar. We must have laughed for 5-10 minutes straight up on the altar. Finally, Fr. Zachar had enough and yelled at us saying “this is the house of God, be quiet”!

Anyway, I’m so happy Greg found Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, albeit much different from most of us other believers, before earning his reward in Heaven.

  4. Kathi,
I am so sorry about your husband ,Greg. My prayers are with you. I know how hard it is to loose your partner in life. Take care of yourself .hugs
