Linda Ann (Schick) Drahos, 84, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025, surrounded by the love of her children. Visitation: 4:30-6:30 p.m., Sunday, May 18, 2025, with Rosary reciting at 4:00 p.m., Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 19, 2025, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids. Burial: Mount Vernon Cemetery, Mount Vernon, Iowa. There will be a luncheon following the burial at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids. A lifelong resident of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Linda brought warmth, creativity, and joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Martha and Michael; and her siblings, Barbara and John. She is survived by her beloved children, Angela, Michael, Daniel, James, and Christina; and grandchildren, Jake, Annie, Jack, and Caston, who will carry forward her vibrant spirit. A social and spirited soul, Linda had a true gift for bringing people together. Whether hosting family gatherings or chatting with friends, she was most at home when surrounded by others. Her kindness and generous heart left a lasting impression on everyone she met.Linda was also a woman of many talents. She had a lifelong passion for cooking and cake decorating, turning her creativity into a cherished side business that sweetened countless celebrations. Her cakes were more than desserts; they were works of art and labors of love. Professionally, Linda found purpose and pride in her role at Four Oaks, where she ran the kitchen. She served with heart and humor, nourishing not only bodies but spirits as well. She retired at the age of 80, leaving behind many fond memories and grateful smiles. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life. Linda was a devoted member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, where she found comfort, community, and strength throughout the years.Linda's Enthusiastic and spirited presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Mike Drahos.

  7. Mike and Bonnie always loved playing music for her at Grand Living. She especially liked Garth Brooks & polkas & we always played both for her. We enjoyed visiting with her after our shows so much. We also enjoyed watching her dance. She was our favorite person there & really will Miss Her. Prayers to her family & friends!!!
