Timothy Price

Timothy Ray Price, 74, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. Tim was born January 1, 1949, in Vinton, Iowa, to Marion and Betty (Stanford) Price. He received his education in Center Point and worked at the Nissen Corporation, until he retired. Tim possessed a deep passion for tinkering and assembly. Those closest to him often sought his expertise to fix an array of household gadgets and machines, a testament to his remarkable abilities. He had an innate talent, much like MacGyver. He could diagnose car troubles simply by listening to the engine over the phone. Tim delighted in sharing his wisdom on the mechanics of machines with anyone who would lend an ear. In his leisure time, he could be found repairing vacuums, lawnmowers, and other small appliances that found their way into his garage. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, a niece, and a great nephew. He is survived by his siblings, Theodore Price (Byrl), Tracy Price (Victor), Cindee Zobac, and Christee Stewart (James).His memory lives on through his children, Jennifer Smith (Aaron), Shawn Price (Gretchen), and Shane Price (Jenn), and his grandchildren, Jada and Aja Smith, Grace, and Sophia Price. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Celebration of Life is planned for June, providing family and friends an opportunity to gather and commemorate his life.
