Michelle Lee Yahr, 64, of Stanwood, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023, at home. Service arrangements are pending. Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services of Mount Vernon is caring for Michelle's family.Michelle is survived by four children, Amber Rose Yahr of Colorado, Rush Robert Yahr of Stanwood, Vanessa Ann Yahr of Neenah, Wisconsin, Sariah Yahr of Stanwood; three grandchildren, Soren Cloud Turner, Dawson Boothe, Dylan Boothe; father, Thomas (Jean) Avery of Arizona; sister, Monique Mckee; three brothers, Skip Avery, David Avery, Mike Avery, all of Oregon; and other relatives and friends.Michelle Lee, the daughter of Thomas and Patricia Geracio Avery, was born September 10, 1958, in Oregon. She grew up in Oregon. Michelle attended school in Oregon and graduated from Thurston High School. Michelle was united in marriage to Rush Ernst Yahr and began a family. After a move to Nevada, the family moved to Stanwood, Iowa. Michelle worked at Mechanicsville Specialty Care, but was for the largest part a homemaker and mother.She is preceded in death by her mother; husband, Rush in 2017; and an infant brother.

  4. Michelle was always smiling and would laugh very easily!! We had many good laughs together, even in her last months!! She loved her family and was always there for them!! She took care of her husband to the end and she loved him very much!!She gave really good hugs and always seemed to know when I needed one!! Be at peace now Michelle! Love you!!
