Ryan Alan Hills, 47, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died on Friday, August 26, 2022. Graveside Services: 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Circle Grove Cemetery, Troy Mills, Iowa. Arrangements are with Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his father, Patric Hills; grandfather, Arthur Drtina; brother, Richard Hills; niece, Chyanne Hills; nephew, Dakota Hills; uncle, Mark (Rebecca) Hills; aunts, Janel Johnson and Linda Carpenter; and many cousins.
Ryan was born on August 3, 1975, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Patric and Debra (Drtina) Hills. He graduated from Kennedy High School in 1993, and attended Kirkwood Community College. Ryan loved to watch football and wrestled in high school where he went on to state. He enjoyed listening to music on the radio.
He was preceded in death by his mother; Debra Hills; grandparents, Harold Hills, Dorothy Hills Franks, and Theola Drtina; and his uncles, Steve Hills, Mike Hills, Arthur 'Bud' Drtina, Jr., and Donald 'Big' Drtina.

I have fond memories of growing up on Horseshoe Lake Rd with Ryan and Rich. Wishing strength and comfort to you all.

Alot of good times growing up on Horseshoe lake from trapping,yard football,camping,ice skating,and fishing.we always had an adventure to keep us busy.
