Jeffrey Huber, 65, of Marion, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022, at home on the farm. Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2022, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial: Dunkard Cemetery, Midway. Survivors include his brother, Michael Huber of Marion; daughter, Nicole Kladivo Baker; niece and nephew, Jenny (Kory) Treviranus and Nick Huber; and aunt, Gladys Fitzpatrick. Jeffrey John was born to Paul and Lucile (Billmeyer) Huber on February 1, 1957. He graduated Alburnett High School with the class of 1975 before attending Kirkwood Community College. There, Jeff received certificates as a Machinist and an Auto Mechanic. He applied these skills at Bob Zimmerman Ford for many years. His love of agriculture had Jeff living and working on the family farm his entire life. Jeff collected antiques, automobiles, antique tractors, and accordions. He was a long-time member of the Antique Truck Historical Society and the John Deere Two-Cylinder Society. You might have seen him on the dance floor moving to classic country or polka music. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister-in-law, Sheryl Huber.

  4. First, my sympathies to the family. Jeff and I had many conversations mainly regarding farming. We spoke about grain prices, tractors, ag conditions, him delivering grain to elevators and so forth. Rest in Peace, my friend. Scott and Michele Newman

  5. Jeff was a good friend as well as his brother Mike. I will always remember the times we spent together in junior high and high school. Jeff was an excellent athlete and I’m proud to have had him as a teammate on our track teams. Jeff brought out the best in all of us and for that I will always be grateful. Rest in peace my friend and know that your memory will be with us always.
