Donald B Ross, Sr., 61, of Cedar Rapids, died August 15, 2022 at Mercy Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Ahrendsen) Ross; and sons, Donald Ross, Jr., Steven William Ross, and Takota Yuma Ross. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Evangeline (Bly) Ross.

Q: What will you never forget about Donald?
A: What I will never forget about you Dad, is when we went bowling one time and that you were trying not to fall over the foul line on your tippy toes trying not to fall, but the funny thing is that you were flapping your arms like a chicken trying to fly. Also I appreciate you being there for me, even though I was awnry and had a rebellious attitude. I owe alot to you for turning your problem child into a mature man. Rest in peace Dad I will always love you. Your loving son Takota
Q: What will you miss most about Donald?
A: The most important thing that I will miss about my dad is the day that we got in a playful wrestling match and I knocked him into the cat pan that day and so he still tells us that I caught him off guard. He was always too proud to say he lost. My memories of my father are loving and fond… he was my hero when I needed him. I love you Dad . Rest in peace… Your loving son Steven.
My Dearest Husband Don, you will always be in my heart. We made so many precious memories though our married life. Some good, some not so good. We stayed together through it all. For better or for worse, in sickness and in health til death do we part. You may be gone but you will never be forgotten my love. I pray the good lord will bring you home and that you will rise like an eagle with the angels above. Til we meet again on the other side , rest in peace my Precious Teddybear. I love you so much.
