Debra Kaye Powers, 58, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022, at home in the company of her children. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, details to be determined. All are welcome to attend. She worked as a CNA and spent the last 25 years at Rockwell Collins. She enjoyed many things- a good flannel, comfortable t-shirt, Walking Dead reruns, spending time with her family, arts and crafts, shopping, and a little Kahlua here and there. She loved music but could never remember the name of a band' or the song. She was a hard worker, a great friend and a loving mother, wife, daughter and sister. She was funny, kind, and would do anything to help another person. She had a huge impact on the lives around her and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott Powers; father, William Eberhardt; and sister, Sandra Oellrich. Her memory will live on in the lives of her children, Heather (Chine) Owens, Jessica Powers, and Alex (Emily) Powers; five grandchildren, Treyson, Mekah, and Elias DeGreif, Eden Johnson, and Ellie Powers; a granddaughter arriving in July; mother, Hilda Lenaburg; brothers, Kevin (Deb) Tinsley, Scott Eberhardt, Tim Eberhardt, and Rick (Jackie) Eberhardt; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
