On Friday, August 13, 2021, Jebril James Brown, our loving son, brother, grandson, fianc��, father, uncle and friend passed away at the age of 30. He was born November 20, 1990, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to James Brown and Yeelah Knight. Jebril was a foodie and gamer whose passions in life we're his children and living life to the fullest. He was a happy, fun loving, smiley baby who grew into a lovely man with a heart of gold. He was employed at the family business, Marion Iron, his entire career as a manager and will be missed dearly by many. Jebril is survived by his mother, Yeelah and her husband, Phil Knight; his father, James, and his wife and Jebril's stepmother, Rai Ann; his sister, Kathleen (Kate) Brown; his fianc��, Kelly Wagner and their two children, Phoenix and Stone; his grandparents, Constance and William Ross; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jebril was preceded in death by his brothers, Jacob and Isaac; his grandparents, Joan and Marvin "Pete" Brown; and his cousins, Ryan and Lilo. A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, August 21, at Daniel's Park Splash-Pad Pavilion, 904 Oakland Road NE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52402.
