  1. Sue, Karen and Darrel, I am so sorry to learn of Pearl’s passing. She had quite a life and went thru so much in the way of loosing her family. I remember visiting her at Hallmark and she felt so bad, she was so tired she couldn’t clean her room. I told her not to worry, she had done her share, sit back and let someone else do it for you now, and she laughed. I think she was that last parent of my classmates. She was always so sweet and had such a cute laugh. I remember spending many hours at her place with Sandi, years ago and she was always so welcoming. So many great memories and fun times. You all are in my thoughts. Annamae Baker

  2. My deepest sympathy to Pearls family. I remember Pearl and Roy when they would come into the bank, they were the nicest people. I just loved Pearl. Our thoughts are with you Sue,love Kathy Dix

  3. My condolences to Pearl & Roy’s family. My memories of this delightful couple always make me smile. Roy was in his late 70’s when Pearl brought him to my office for Reflexology holistic health care. After the initial six weekly treatments Roy said he was beginning to feel the benefit of the treatments, but as it took a while he would have stopped after two treatments. Pearl always like to read my magazines while Roy had his treatment. She looked up from reading People and said, “You were sleeping better, so I was sleeping better, so you were coming.” Before each session I would ask Roy about any changes in his health, tests etc. He would always say, ‘Pretty good, pretty good”. Pearl would look up from her magazine and say, “Now Roy tell Pat about…” Then I could adapt my treatments to his needs. The love, caring and humor between them was special. They continued with monthly maintenance for many years and became two of my favorite clients, always a joy to be with. Patricia Barrance

  4. My deepest sympathy to the whole family.I have so many fond memories of pearl and we shared a lot of laughs thru the years.A very special person who I loved and will miss greatly.-Tom Bova
