As I sit here thinking about you and how we meet. I can’t imagine a day with out you in it. All the long talks we would have about our families. You loved to talk ( gossip) about your girls and share there childhood with me and through those talks I learned a lot about your family and the love you have for each one no matter daughter , son-in-law , grandchild or a neighbor down the block everyone became family. You shall truly be missed .
I have such happy memories of when we were kids. I’m so glad your pain is over, but the love you had for your girls and family is still here. Thank you for everything you did for me and am so glad we touched base again.
May fond memories comfort everyone at this difficult time. We pray you all are able to look back on all the wonderful memories you were able to share with your MOTHER and smile at the fact that you all were with her before she passed. We know that your GRANDMOTHER was the best listener, friend, inventor, cook, cheerleader, rockstar, and playmate. We know Dorothy celebrated being a GREAT-GRANDMOTHER. We offer our deepest and most sincere condolences to everyone grieving for this amazing woman. She was the reason you felt welcomed, seen, heard, valued, supported, and loved. You may not have known Dorothy but she made everyone’s life a little better. Dorothy’s legacy is grace. We believe she had a wish for her friends and family that might have gone something like this….. I wish you the strength to face challenges with confidence along with wisdom to choose your battles carefully. I wish you adventures on every journey and may you always stop to help someone along the way. Listen to your heart and take risks carefully. Remember how much you are loved. I am so very proud of you. God, we celebrate the life of Dorothy DeLaRosa. We celebrate a life of love, integrity, and grace. A life that was a legacy to all that are left behind. May we not spend every moment mourning, but find time to celebrate a life that touched us all. We celebrate the memories that are now treasures that we will have forever. Bless our celebration as we give thanks for the life we have with you. Amen. You are in our thoughts and prayers. McKynsie and family
