  1. Dear Rhoda, Mark Jordan, John Bauer and Families. We are so sorry for your loss of Bob. We pray that our loving God will grant you all comfort and peace through your memories. We have always enjoyed visits with Bob and you all over the years. If there is anything we can do for you do not hesitate to let us know. Love David and Mary Jordan

  2. My heart is broken today as I feel the loss of my best friend’s husband Bob. He was not just a friend’s husband but also a friend himself. Bob not only took great care of Rhoda and his family but everyone in his path that needed a hand. Bob was special and our world sure could use more Bobs. Bob and Rhoda brought us into their family where we felt so welcome after moving to Iowa and living so far from our own families. Rhoda and I cherish our friendship and I sure will miss talking to Bob when I call. Love and prayers, Vonetta Elam

  3. Rhoda and family, our deepest sympathies to you all. Bob was such an honorable man, and I enjoyed seeing his smile. I’ll never forget bumping into both of you at Good Guys car show in Des Moines years ago. The Lord gave Bob a deep faith, and we rest our hopes in the sure promises of Jesus. May you know His strength and comfort.

  4. Rhoda, You and your family are in my prayers. I will miss my conversations with Bob over the bushes in the back yard. Bob’s kindness, knowledge and generosity always brightened my day. I am so lucky to have lived next door to you both for the past 23 years. I hope you find peace and comfort in your many memories. Lana

  6. To Bob’s family. I was a classmate of Bobs. I know he will be greatly miss because he was a GREAT man. Sharon Fehr Kemp

  7. Rhoda and family, Please accept my sympathy on the passing of Bob. Ted always spoke of him as being such a nice guy. When you are in high school and people say that kind of thing about you, it really means that he was a genuine good guy. I remember what a great smile he had and how it seems he really was glad to meet someone old or someone new. I am sure you will miss him a great deal. I will be praying that the Lord will make His presence very near to you. Rachel Munger-Hartman

  8. Bauer family My condolences to you. It is indeed a very sad time to lose a family member. I worked with Bob for many years at Collins. He was a joy to work together. I used to tease him about his 32, to get it on the road. I did enjoy seeing it at 80 th birthday party. He was an honorable ma. Dave Kroeger
