Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. David was my stepfather. I have lots of memories of going camping, riding in the snow plow growing up with him in my life doing many things like driving to Colorado springs, playing with my little stepsister and helping to take care of my daughter. David was one of a kind. May the Angels take care of you and watch over you.

  2. The Studt Family, I’m so sorry for your loss. I remember Dave from many years of school, he was a fun, loving guy and was a friend to many. I have never seen Dave mad, always had a smile on his face and an unforgettable laugh. Dave will be missed by many. Always remember Dave with a smile, he would like that. Hold his love and memory close. Annamae Baker

  3. So sorry for your loss. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

  4. I always enjoyed talking to Dave when he’d call in for refills at the pharmacy and when he would pick them up. He always had a smile on his face even when he was not feeling good. To the Studt family I am deeply sorry for your loss.

  5. My family patronized Lange’s when we first moved to MV, and until its closing years afterwards. Dave gave great customer service to Lange customers; his helpful way made it easy to go back. Rest peacefully.

  6. My uncle David was a great man. I don’t remember him ever being upset, but do remember times when my dad would get upset with me and uncle David was around would say “ Tom it isn’t that bad maybe explain to him what you mean or how you want it done”. Another memory burned into my young mind that I smile about today was my very first hunting trip. My dad , uncle David and I, can’t remember if my brother was with me or not. But we were squirrel hunting and I was using a pump .22( never fired a gun 1st time and 1st time hunting) . Anyway dad shows me how to operate the weapon and briefly explains the concept of what we are doing( so even remember how young I was)but we proceed to start walking through the woods. Fast forward I’m getting bored as hell and we are walking up a small hill and I see a squirrel on a tree in front of me. 😆 I got so excited everything I was told that morning went out the window! My dad and uncle David were walking behind me a good ways and I pulled that .22 pump rifle up to shoot that squirrel off the tree and missed! The little thing come down off the tree and took off the hill and I followed it pumping and pulling the trigger as fast I could. Hahahaha could have been a very bad day as I ran out of bullets I finally realized my dad and uncle were no longer behind me. I hear my dad yell out the Damn rifle down and walk away, not knowing even where is he is at. After following that command bit my dad and uncle David come up off the ground out from behind trees and walk up fast as ever to grab the .22 I had laid down. 1st time and only time I ever seen my uncle David smoke a cigarette. 😆 never gave me the .22 back and I ended up carrying all the squirrels they shot back. Hahahaha, come along way since then. RIP uncle Dave , I know you and Dad probably already planning a hunting trip!

  7. I have only met David a few times, for which I am thankful for, due to our son, Steven being blessed to marry David’s granddaughter, Brilee. She was raised by David and Donna who did a tremendous job raising a beautiful, determined, tough, young lady. Brilee has expressed her love and respect for a grandfather who took the time to teach her life skills and shared his love of country with her. Thank you for your service, David and Brilee. While this family lost a patriarch, Heaven has gained an angel.

  8. Remembering all the Studt reunions in the past. David was usually there and a good time was had by all. I am sure that my dad, his brother, met him at the gate. I won’t be able to make the services due to the pandemic. My prayers are going out to all the family which I am a part of. Ellen Bryant

  9. We were sorry to learn of Dave’s death. I have known him since we were in high school at the same time as he was just a class or two behind me. We would run into each other and visit many times over the years when he was with the city and also at the gas station. He was a member of a big family and always strong in his beliefs about how things should be, sure enjoyed talking with him. Hope that his family will find comfort in their faith, family, friends and great memories. John Rife
