January 12, 1934 ~ October 3, 2019

Virginia Williamson, 85, of Mount Vernon, formerly of Indiana, passed away on October 3, 2019. Gathering to celebrate her life will take place 3-5 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Mount Vernon, with a Celebration Service at 5 p.m. She is survived by her daughters, Tracie Gogel of Cedar Rapids, and Teresa Gunderson of Wisconsin; grandchildren, Jenny (Brian) Johnson, Daniel (Bobbi) Gogel, Sara Gunderson, Steve (Jackie) Gunderson, Christopher Gunderson, David (Alicia) Brauer, Rachel Brush, Vanessa Weidrick, and William Weidrick; 20 great-grandchildren; and sister, Barbara. Virginia May was born in Beach Grove, Indiana, to Friel and Jessie (Russell) Bloir, on January 12, 1934. She graduated from high school there. Ginny married her love, Tracy Williamson raising three daughters. She worked as a factory worker for many companies, most recently for International Automotive Components. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren enjoyed trips to Indiana to visit them as often as possible. In 2016, Tracy preceded her in death and she moved to Iowa. She loved spending time eating out and having her hair done. But her favorite things ever were spending time with her grandkids and shopping for clothes. She will be missed. The family would like to express a special thank you to everyone at Hallmark Care Center for the care given to her at the end of her life, especially Cassie Forde who helped her at the end. Ginny was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Stacy Weidrick; and siblings. Memorials in Ginny's memory may be directed to the family.
