  1. Prayers are with all of you in this difficult time. May you know Jesus holding you close. Rev. Torger P. Johnson

  2. I work for the HR department at the Cedar Rapids Community School District and talked to Kelsey on a daily basis. She was a joy to talk to and was always very nice. I will miss her. Praying for your family at this difficult time. ~ Dana Hartman

  3. I got to know Kelsey during my many appointments for a Workmans Comp injury. Her wedding was a week after my daughter’s wedding so we often talked about that. I’m so very shocked and sadden to hear of her loss, and I am sure her family and work family Is heartbroken. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Holly Karsten

  4. With deepest sympathy to you BJ and to Kelsey’s family. We are so very sorry for your loss. God bless. Brandon & Toni

  5. I am deeply sorry for your loss. I’m reaching out with some encouragement as I too have lost many loved ones in death. One thing that has helped me to cope many times is a promise made by in the Bible at Acts 24:15. Here it says that we can have a “hope toward God” for He promises that “there is going to be a resurrection.” What a comfort to have “a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago.” (Titus 1:2) Another comforting Scripture, one of my personal favorites, is Isaiah 65:21, 22. I think Steve would have loved this scripture. Speaking of those who will be living on the paradise Earth under God’s Kingdom rule, it says: “They will build houses and live in them, And they will plant vineyards and eat their fruitage. They will not build for someone else to inhabit, Nor will they plant for others to eat. For the days of my people will be like the days of a tree, And the work of their hands my chosen ones will enjoy to the full.” I hope these verses comfort you as they have comforted me. My heart and prayers go out to you. Below is a link to a very encouraging Scripture-based brochure entitled, When Someone You Love Dies. https://tinyurl.com/y8q5fv93 Deepest Sympathies, Vickie

  6. I didn’t know Kelsey for very long but the short time we shared, she was the sweetest and kindest young woman. So very saddened by her passing. I know she is happy to be with her beloved mother again. Prayers and condolances to all the family and friends that mourn her. My God bless you with the fond memories and not the shortness of her life.

  7. I am thinking of you during this difficult time. May God comfort you in the days ahead as Romans 15:5 says he supplies comfort and endurance. My deepest sympathies to the family of Kelsey. I am so sorry for your loss.
