So sorry to see of Burt’s passing. What a great loyal and faithful friend and business associate. I always enjoyed his phone calls and our visits when I stopped to see him when I was in Cedar Rapids. He called me a few weeks ago and we visited about old times and talked about turning 100 years old this Nov. sorry he didn’t make that milestone. Our sympathy to his family and many friends. God’s speed Burt, love Ray & Dorothy Francois
Our sympathy to the family of Burton Odell. We didn’t get to know him, but always enjoyed seeing him coming into church, and years ago taking collection. His service and devotion to the church has set a high bar for us to reach.
I am so sorry to hear about Burt. Your parents were really good friends of my parents, Monica & Dick Loftus. My very first outing as a 10 day old baby was New Years eve 1960 at your house. I knew your parents growing up and saw how great a friendship they all had that lasted a lifetime. Burt was so nice, had a great sense of humor and truly cared about others. I felt bad that we moved my mom to NE and lost contact with Burt. Please know that I was blessed having your parents in my life. You are in my thoughts and prayers. The picture was taken in May 1983 at a couples shower for my wedding. With sympathy, Virginia (Ginny Loftus) Staley
