Cheryl and all-I’m so sorry for your loss. I have so many great memories of your mom. I feel like I practically grew up at your house during high school! She always welcomed me with a smile and she always had something to eat! I am so saddened for all of you and I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers but please know that whenever I think of Janette- it will forever bring a big smile to my face because of all those wonderful childhood memories!
Janette was one of the best neighbors a little girl could ask for growing up! I was always welcomed with open arms and candy. Then as a teenager I loved working at Hardee’s knowing I would get to see her almost everyday for her coffee. She was the best person, neighbor and friend anyone could ask for. Prayers for the family at the time.
Janette was a wonderful lady! I have many fond memories of the Whitman home. So sorry for your loss. Praying that memories of this wonderful lady give comfort in your time of grief.
Deepest sympathies to the Whitman family. I personally have many fond memories of Janette; from she and Clair playing cards with my mom and dad (Bill & Bonnie Feuss), to her sweet “Well, hello BJ, how are you?” when she would arrive at our house for yet another excursion somewhere with them. Always so kind, and such a lovely woman. I know my mother considered her one of her closest friends. Thinking of all of you, and praying for God’s strength and comfort in the days to come. Jo (Billie-Jo) Harman.
