In lieu of flowers, drink a beer.
We are so sorry to hear this. Cork and Sharon lived across the street from us for years. They were wonderful neighbors and friends. When I would have trouble starting my car Cork would come over and start it. He also helped us move to this house. sharon helped also and put all my cupboard stuff up on the highest shelf and then laughed as only she could. They were great people and had a great family. We will miss you. Love all of you. Francis and Loretta
My favorite memory of Grandpa Corkery was when he gave me Grandma Sharon’s hat before I went mushroom hunting with him.
I learned about table cushions from Corky at Lloyd Table. I also learned his facial expressions on how miffed he was if I messed one up. I loved his laugh if I blushed at a ‘dirty joke’. He was a joy when yelling was going on in my department & I would be with him upstairs, laughing listening.
When I read of his passing, in my head, I heard Sharons laughing with joy…(as no one else could). They were together again. I loved them both. You have my deepest sympathy on your loss, but he’s where he shoud be now. I WILL drink a beer in his memory…maybe a wine cooler in Sharons, they made us laugh till we teard up!
