Sandra Yeater, 78, of Cedar Rapids, died of a sudden illness Friday, October 13, 2017, at University of Iowa Hospitals. Funeral Mass: 12 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at St. Jude Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. Mark Reasoner. Private Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Ryan.
Survivors include her children, Jim Yeater, Rhonda Chase, and Michael (Juli) Yeater; grandchildren, Crystal Telfer, Shannon Telfer, Jackie (Josh) Thompson, Claire Yeater, and Grant Yeater; great-grandchildren, Sydney Meyers, Landon Meyers, Kelsey Breedlove, Killian Harris, and Adalyn Harris; and special niece, Kathy Schmidt.
Sandra Carole Sullivan was born April 20, 1939, in Ryan, Iowa, to Thomas and Nora (Flannigan) Sullivan. She worked at Collins Radio, manufacturing circuit boards until retiring after 35 years. A devout Catholic, she was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church where she enjoyed working in the bookstore. Sandra also enjoyed BINGO, outings to Riverside, and accomplishing crosswords. She was a social person, and loved working at the Shriner's hall. Most importantly, Sandra cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Marilyn and Norreen; and brother, Hubert.

So sorry to hear of Sandy’s passing. Worked together several years ago, and she always had a positive outlook and demeanor.
