Gwen Hubler

Gwen Hubler, 81, of Cedar Rapids, died on Monday, September 18, 2017. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. Gwen was born on November 2, 1935, in Iowa City, the daughter of Eugene and Eva (Trapp) Caldwell. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1954. Gwen worked various jobs including Iowa Title Company, Cedar Rapids Building Department, Norand, and Quaker Oats. She enjoyed taking trips, especially to Las Vegas, camping, watching Wheel of Fortune and being with her Springer Spaniels. Survivors include her children, Darcey (Tim) Torrey and Craig Hubler; grandchildren, Tim Bena and Amber Bena; and great grandchildren, Chloe and Bentley. She was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter-in-law, Lady Allison.
