Really sorry to hear about Dave.I haven’t seen him. in years.we had a lot of fun together as kids.He was my best man at my wedding in 1972.we had a rock band together when we were 16. He was the tambourine man and singer.I will greatly miss him.
Along with Mike Taylor, I have fond memories of Dave not only with the band we formed, but also as a friend. Remember his artwork on his parents garage door and a camping trip with him that got us into trouble. Always there with a quick smile and a glass half full attitude. Never forget first meeting him in 9th grade as a newcomer to Cedar Rapids. One of my first friends. Truly a great loss of a wonderful man.
It was nice to know you Dave .
Anne & family,
I am so very saddened that Dave has passed. We had fun at Wright School with his sense of humor and mine! He will surely be missed. Please take care.

I only knew David for a short time as he was my childhood friend on the S.W. side of town. He was a fun kid to hang with! His sister Arlene used to come to my folks house to ride my Shetland pony. Sorry for your loss and mine. May he be renewed with good health and eternal life. Darlene {Bosier} Shreeves.
