Judy,Barb and family- I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Dorothy. I had such a good time visiting with her- she had the best smile! I will miss hearing her call us “Honey”. Prayers to all of you and thank you for sharing her with us!
Thank you, Tiffany, and to all those at Solon who showed her such kindness and respect. You and others have been such blessings to our family because we knew she was in good care at Solon. Your kind words are appreciated so much. Appreciate your prayers for us. Love, Barb & family
I remember working with Dorothy at Walmart on the southwest side of Cedar Rapids. It has been over 10 years ago but she always had a fancy hat on and was such a sweet lady. I gave her a ride home occasionally after we were done with our shift. I am sending my deepest sympathy to you in your loss of such a sweet woman. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word to say. May she rest in peace and now she has joined the angels in heaven.
Thank you so much, Cheryl, for our nice post. It made us smile. Mom loved to greet and talk to people. It’s so nice to know she had people like you who cared about her at Wal-Mart. We will miss her. Appreciate your kindness. Love, Barb & family
Barb and family, so sorry the hear of the death of your Mom. It does not matter how old you are, your mother is a special person and when she is no longer there for that hug or word of advise it touches you deeply. Think of you often Barb and sending my sympathy to you and the whole family.
