William Fred Feuss, 87, a recent resident of the Solon Retirement Village and longtime resident of Lisbon, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at the Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha, surrounded by his family. Visitation: 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Mount Vernon. Celebration of Life: 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 22, 2016, at the Lisbon United Methodist Church, by Pastor Thomas Mattson. Burial: Lisbon Cemetery.
Survivors include his daughters, Betty (Tom) Meeker of Lisbon, Beverly (Tom) Marshall of Moore, Oklahoma, Brenda (Ron) Bedell of Lisbon, and Jo (Randy) Harman of Mount Vernon; 22 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Bill was born September 10, 1928, in Toronto, Iowa, the son of William and Frieda (Kriepke) Feuss. On December 24, 1952, he married Evelyn 'Bonnie' Klouda in Cedar Rapids. William was a jack of all trades; working as a truck driver for Nash Finch, B&G Feed & Grain, and Wilkin Elevator. Bill also worked as a farm manager for Tonne Farms, and in the maintenance department for Cornell College. Following retirement, he also worked for Lloyd Table.
Bill enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, and woodworking. He loved to play Euchre and visit with people. He never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone. His family and friends will treasure his memory.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Evelyn 'Bonnie'; his parents; six brothers; and three sisters.
Memorials may be directed to the Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy.
My thoughts and prayers are with everyone. Uncle Bill was always smiling and took time to say hello and speak with me every time he saw me. He will be missed.

I am sorry to hear of Bills passing. I remember as a kid and adult Bill and Bonnie playing euchre with my parents Clair and Janette Whitman. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill’s family.
