Boy could I come up with some good ones,, 3 things come to mind ,one is you loved to eat, always at our parties, and take outs,,,,, tell wild stories,,never knowing when to believe you…,and putter around the house, always busy like Virgil….My favorite is you trying to change Sun City ,Az,,,I would go down just to see what you were up to ,, ,like the little pool you built with so many comical toys in it for the Gold Fish pool, ,,I can’t remember how many times you had to replace all the gold fish,,that kicked the bucket from the hot sun,,cause the water was as hot as the sun..,I double up laughing at the picture of it,, Then you would take pride of a garden each year , in the hot sandy yard,,at least the some of the veggies grew, and all the puttering around the house designing it like you and Virgil were designers..I wish the kids had been around you for allot of the things you did, you missed your calling in the Comedy Clubs…… There are so many things I missed that WE DID TOGETHER BEFORE I MOVED……,,you will be missed,,m especially when we went to the pool, and, mini golf course, cause Irene wasn’t into what we were.. at the rec centers.. Rest in Peace…
Joell, Greg and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Steve and Nicole Clymer
I did not know Mr. Leonard…I just knew of him as his wife’s attorney. I do remember how sad he was when Irene passed away. He was lost and his girls helped him recover from the huge loss. I fondly remember conversations with Irene where she giggled when she spoke of her husband and I use to get a kick out of it. Now they can be together again and rest in peace. My condolences to the family for their loss.
Elmer, (Doc),
Some people come into your life even for a brief time, and leave a footprint of memories never to be forgotten. You and Irene were 2 of those people. I will always remember you with kind memories. The smile you had could light up a room!
