Linda Kay Ralston Sulzner 54, died in her Mechanicsville home Friday July 22, 2005 from cancer. Memorial services, 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, at Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices, Mount Vernon Chapel, by Chaplain Christine Wagner-Hecht. The family will greet friends from 12:30 p.m., until service time Tuesday at the chapel. Surviving Linda are her children: Shelly and husband Rich Bryan of Mechanicsville, Chad Sulzner, Brandi and husband Mike Billick all of Stanwood, six grandchildren: Zakkary, Rhiannon, and Miranda Bryan of Mechanicsville, Aksel Sulzner of Mercersberg, Pennsylvannia, and Chad and Alana Sulzner of Stanwood. Linda is also survived by her father Al Ralston of Mechanicsville, her grandmother Mildred Vosdingh of Cedar Rapids, a sister Diana Kallenberger of Muscatine, and a very special friend and companion, Bob Albaugh of Mechanicsville. Preceding Linda in death were her mother Lillian Woods, grandparents John Vosdingh and Harold and Etta Ralston. Linda was born February 17, 1951 at Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Al and Lillian Woods Ralston. Linda moved to Mechanicsville in 1955, and graduated from Lincoln Community High School, Stanwood, in 1969. Linda was a bar tender, working at the Model T Bar at Mechanicsville for thirteen years. Linda worked at Purethane Inc., at West Branch and was working at NCS Pearson at Cedar Rapids. She was a member of the Mechanicsville First Presbyterian Church. Linda loved her children, grandchildren and her two cats. She enjoyed working in her yard and being out in the sun.
