Robert Wallace

Robert W. Wallace, 48, of Marion, died Friday, June 24, 2005 from a long illness. The Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 1, 2005 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church by the Reverend Phillip Schmitt. Assisting the family with arrangements is Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices, Mount Vernon Chapel. Surviving Robert are his mother, Mary Wallace of Mount Vernon; 3-sisters: Andrea (Bill) Jones of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Joan (David) Burge of Mount Vernon and Francesca (Don) Thompson of Mount Vernon; two brothers: Patrick (Wendy) of South Amana, John (Elizabeth) of North Liberty; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Robert in death was his father William. Robert was born May 12, 1957, in Cedar Rapids, the son of William M. and Mary Daley Wallace. Robert's family wishes to thank the people REM Home in Marion, Iowa for providing such loving care and comfort to Robert during his life. A memorial fund in Robert's name may be made to Camp Courageous, 12007 190 Street, R.R.2, Monticello, Iowa 52310.
