Ivan S. Kohl

Ivan S. Kohl, 81 of Monticello, formerly of Lisbon, died Thursday February 14, 2008 in the Jones Regional Medical Center, Monticello from a brief illness. Funeral services 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, at Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices, Mount Vernon Chapel, where the casket will be opened after 1:00 p.m. The service will be conducted by Rev. Clayton George. Burial in Lisbon Cemetery. Ivan is survived by a brother Clair J., of Louisville, Kentucky. Preceding Ivan in death were his parents Ira and Jenney Kohl, and a brother Meril M. Kohl, Sr. Ivan was born September 16, 1926 in Anamosa. He lived in the Lisbon-Mount Vernon area until moving to Monticello after his grandparents died. A memorial fund has been established.
