On Sunday December 13, 2009, Amy Danielle Griffith went to heaven to be with her brothers. Amy was born January 23, 1987 in Las Vegas, moving back to Mechanicsville in 1995. She graduated from North Cedar Schools in 2005. Amy was loved by all around her and gave special love to her nieces and nephews. She had a very special bond with her brother Noel and was especially proud when she got into bowling, receiving numerous medals. Amy enjoyed spending time with animals and loved doing crafts. She is survived by her parents, Don and Diane, brothers, Paul and Andre, sisters Amanda and Jayme, sisters-in-law Delinda Carson and Stacey Griffith, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many special friends. Amy was preceded in death by her brothers Ssgt. Don "Don Don" and Noel Griffith, both sets of grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Graveside services 2:30 p.m., Friday at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsville by Celebrant Mary Morgan. The visitation and viewing will be Thursday, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices, Mount Vernon Chapel.
