Hello, I just wanted to let you all know that you’re in my thoughts and prayers. I have such fond memories of spending some afternoons with Vonda and Val in Carmel’s apartment and room at Hallmark. We’d visit and listen to her amazing stories and she did a great job teaching me to play cards. I also had the privilege to take her for a ride all around Lisbon and Stanwood one afternoon in her car. What an amazing woman! Carmel, you’re my hero! Robin Wall (friend of Vonda’s)
Darcey, I was so very sorry to learn of the passing of your dear Mother. What a special lady she was. I became aquainted with her and your Dad when I worked at the grocery store. Your Dad make me rice krispie bars once, he was also a sweetie. I would pop in to see your Mom every time I was at Cherry Ridge and also at Hallmark. It was just a couple of weeks ago I stopped in to say hi….I knew then she wasn’t doing very well. You are so lucky to have such a beautiful Mother, we all have been blessed to have had her in our lives. Know that you are in my very special thoughts at this most difficult time.
