Dear HARDIE & BEE & ALBERT – I was saddened to hear of LINDE’s passing and wanted to send my prayers across the miles to offer my support to all of you. I had the great joy and honor of working with LINDE at the front desk of the Cornell Commons during my 10 years in Mt. Vernon. She was so cheerful and fun to wok with and I enjoyed visits with her & HARDIE especially at their home at Christmas when I was fascinated how she was able to safely decorate the Christmas tree with burning candles like in the old world German tradition. She was special and will be missed but her spirit lives on in our hearts and hopefully I will get to see you all when I travel out to Iowa later this July.
