Melody was my best friend and she was a wonderful friend. She loved helping people, and never wanted anything in return. She touched so many lives for so many years, and will be missed dearly. Ride with the wind, my friend. Someday we will ride together again. loveyabye.

Melody, always the beautiful lady with the smile. I remember our talks and all the laughing we did. You could always bring a smile to my face. I’m going to miss you much my friend. To your family who I know you treasured I send my deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers.
Melody and I worked together in Cedar Rapids. We both loved cooking and sharing recipes. I’ll never forget the day she came to work with her hair dyed Vonage colors! She had a great sense of humor and will be missed by many. Rest in peace, my condolences to family and friends.
I cannot believe you are gone. We were best friends from the age 16 until 50+. I looked for my previous posting and don’t see it, where did it go? I loved you so so much. We were like twins. My passwords are still “Melody”. Every day I log in and think about you. Why did you have to go??? Six yrs later and I am still crying like a baby. I hope Heaven is a good place, I’ll be seeing you there, soon. Janet
I have thousands of letters from Melody. I moved from IA to TX to SC , went into the Army, she was always my Babe, keeping me strong. I moved from TX to Chicago to San Diego, we always kept in touch, for 40 yrs. Moved to GA, she was coming down to see me, soon she said. Then my spouse got sepsis and I didn’t keep in touch, I was devastated, only to look her up and find online she had passed, her kids didn’t even contact me to tell me. What a horrible blow, after all I had already lost, my spouse, my home, my bsns. Losing Melody just sucked all the life out of me for yrs. It’s only now I can come to this place and say I LOVED YOU THE MOST, MELODY!
