  1. I had the pleasure of knowing Mike for almost fifty years on the job and off. Whenever we met we would have a lovely conversation. I will miss him. He was a customer of my Dad at the Iowa Theater Barber Shop. One day many years ago Dad shared a story regarding Mike with me. When Mike first came to CR he worked as a laborer for O.F.Paulson Construction. One day he was told to store a large pile of conduit in some particular room on the job. Well as it turned out the room wasn’t long enough to lay the conduits down so being an inventive “Mick” he bent them in half. When O.F. saw this he chuckled and said “That kid would make a heck of an electrician”. How right he was! God Bless and rest in peace Mike.
