Annette M. Wilson, 50, of Marion, died on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, August 10, 2014, at the Clark Alumni House at Coe College, Cedar Rapids. Survivors include her daughter, Samantha Gardner; significant other, George Madlon and his daughters, Montana and Skilar; brother, Tom (Tracy) Wilson; aunt, Olive Hardeman; nephews, Marc and Quinn; and great niece, Fiona. Annette was born on April 24, 1964, in Elkhart, Indiana, the daughter of Dale and Joy (Holdeman) Wilson. She worked as a cook at Coe College for many years. Annette loved the outdoors, especially enjoying hiking along the Mississippi River. She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandmother, Harriett Holdeman.
I have lovely memories of Annette. She was very caring and loved her daughter so much. She will be missed so much by those whose lives she touched. May God bless your soul.
Annette provided me so much joy over the years at Coe. Always the smile and big greeting. So proud to share her deviled eggs and baked beans. I will never forget her and her kindnesses. Rest in peace Annette.
