Anthony 'Tony' Francisco Thomas, 45, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The family will greet friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, 1844 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, and from 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 19, 2010, at Henderson's Highland Park Funeral Home, Des Moines, Iowa. He leaves not to mourn, but to celebrate his life, his siblings, Archie (Theresa) Collier of Cedar Rapids, Arnold (Sue) Harris of Tempe, Arizona, DeMarques Thomas of Phoenix, Arizona, Shedrick Elliott, Jr. of Des Moines, Janice Collier of Sun City, Arizona, LaToya K. Thomas of Kansas City, Missouri, Dovie Muhammad of Phoenix, Arizona, Tracie L. Thomas of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Stephenia (Kenny)Thomas-Claytor of Des Moines; his step-father, Nathanial Hart of Des Moines; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Preceding him in death are his loving mother, Margaret Hart; his father, Shedrick Russell Elliott Sr.; his grandparents, Orville and Fannie McKee; and his brother, Allen Craig Thomas.
