Omagene Smith, 83, a resident of ManorCare Health Services died Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha, following a long illness. There will be no services. Burial at a later date. Arrangements are with Stewart Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Survivors include two sons, Richard Smith of Las Vegas, Nevada and Bruce Smith of Des Moines, Iowa.
