My condolences to the family.. Don’t care what anyone says, I think she was one of my best teachers at Roosevelt High School over 55 years ago. She did an excellent job of teaching . Blessing to all her relation. Ted Smyth
Even though I never had Ms. Rickey for a teacher I can always remember her cheerful attitude as she strolled through the Halls of Thomas Jefferson High School. RIP Ms. Rickey. RIP
Just a memorey about Miss Ricky. She was the very best math teacher I ever had. In fact after my soph. yr at Jeff.in 1970 Geometry, Miss Ricky taught advance math to Jr and Sr. So I transfered into her room. Now I never said she wasn’t strict and had eyes in the back of her head, but she was good, damn good. I bet I was the only person that had her two years in a roll.

My sisters and I all had Miss Rickey for math when we attended Jefferson High School. She was a good teacher and devoted to her work.

She was a great math teacher. Very strict but she always had time to provide additional help.
Jefferson Class of 72
Miss Rickey was one tough teacher and she was well respected. Whoever had her for a teacher came away with a better knowledge of math.
