Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Losing someone in death is one of the hardest trials to endure. We pray that you are comforted by the words recorded at John 5:28, 29 and Isaiah 33:24. May God continue to wipe the tears of sorrow from your faces. (Revelation 21:3, 4)

  2. To Phillips family; I’m saddened to hear that Flip has passed. I was his neighbor during our teen years in Hazelwood Addn. Geneseo IL, and have many memories of those carefree times. One particular event that I remember was an early morning run to Missouri for fireworks with Flip, Dale Hillman, and myself. Dale borrowed his dads car, unbeknownst to him, and I drove.(Our parents weren’t aware of our plans) I had a drivers license and they did not. We had a great time traveling to Hannibal MO, purchased fireworks, and returned home. That was when the real fireworks began; trying to explain to our parents where we had been that day.

  3. Jerry & Deb, Shawn…I was, of course, suprised and saddened to hear of Phillip’s passing. I had not seen him for well over a decade and had no idea he was sick. I hope his passing was peaceful. My thoughts are with you all, as well as his children and other family members.
    Love,
    Pam
