  1. I had the privilege of being Alice’s home health nurse for the last part of her time in Atkins. I remember my first day visiting Alice. She was kind of crabby that day and did’nt seem to like me much. Over the next few visits we seemed to get along better each time. As time went on we developed a very special bond. I can honestly say that I knew her well and really grew to love her. I knew she could be stubborn at times but I liked her independence. I will miss her greatly.
