Robert Braumann, 60, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Memorial Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. Curt Moermond. Survivors include his wife, Debbie; mother, Mary Braumann; step-sons, Dustin and Derek; brothers, David Braumann, Randy (Becky) Braumann, and John (Michelle) Braumann; sister, Barbara (Jeff) Adkins; mother-in-law, Irene (Dick) Edgar, sister-in-law, Diane (Ed) O'Brien, brother-in-law, Don (Holly) Richards; and nieces and nephews, Aaron, Kari, Ryan, Brieanna, Jason, Mary, Kelli, Jeff, Noah, Zoe, Trenton, Quinn, Zoey, and Donnie. Bob was born November 26, 1950, in Spencer, Iowa, the son of Evron and Mary (Fibaker) Braumann. He was a clock repairman for Harmening Haus in Marion, a job he had become very passionate about. On October 6, 2007, he married Debbie Richards at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Bob was a loyal fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and enjoyed golfing. His family was very important to him and he enjoyed spending time with them, including playing cards and dominoes on Saturday evenings with Randy and Becky. He was a loving and caring husband, father, and brother who will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Evron; and father-in-law, Dick Richards. A memorial fund has been established.

  1. Bob was a good friend and cousin. I learned how to hit a draw shot in golf from him.:) I will always remember our golf outings and his kindness.

  11. Debbie I am so sorry for you loss. Bob will be missed by so many people and especially the kids in your day care. Every time I pick one of my grandkids up from your place they always had to give him a hug and say goodbye. You could see he enjoyed having them around. God Bless all of you.     Bob will be missed by so many. I always enjoyed his personality as he always had a joke or story to tell when ever I would see him. My own 3 boys have very fond memories of him as well.

  18. My heart goes out to Bob’s family. I knew him back in the 70’s. What a great guy! I still have a wonderful set of wine glasses he gave me at my wedding. Goodbye my friend
