Mary Margaret Ash

Mary Margaret (Teel) Ash, 52, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, October 5, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. A gathering of family and friends will be from 2 ' 3 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids. Survivors include her husband, Stanley Dowd of Cedar Rapids; siblings, Barbara (Glen) Carey of Menifee, California, George (Sandy) Teel, Dana (Penny) Teel, Karen (Bill) Wilburn, and Althena Teel, all of Cedar Rapids; uncle, Bob (Jerry) Teel of Cedar Rapids; many nieces and nephews; and four step-children. Mary was born April 7, 1961, in Charleston, West Virginia, the daughter of Ray and Dorothy (Lanham) Teel. She enjoyed talking on the CB radio and will be remembered as a very kind-hearted person. Mary will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and former husband, Kenneth Ash. Memorials are suggested to the family.
