Ronald O'Neill, 84, passed away at his home on Friday, March 29, 2024. Per Ron's wishes, no services are planned. A private burial will be at a later date with military honors. Ron was born August 26, 1939, in Waukon, Iowa, son to John and Marguerite (Kilpatrick) O'Neill. Ron served in the Air Force in Korea and was honorably discharged in 1962. Ron was a skilled carpenter and worked building homes with his father and brothers. Eventually, he went to work for Abell-Howe. Ron was an avid, lifelong golfer and accomplished the rare achievement of making a hole-in-one. He also enjoyed watching baseball, especially the little league games his son, Matt played in. He is survived by his beloved children, Bob, Matt, and Dana (Tyler) Green; four beloved grandchildren, Reese Green, Peyton Green, Quinn O'Neill, and Molly O'Neill; and many loving family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jack and Jerry; and sister, Monica.
